Welcome to Central United Methodist Church website! At Central I believe you will experience warmth, love and kindness that the Central family demonstrates in so many ways. This is one of the friendliest congregations around. It is my privilege to be the shepherd of such a great and active church. I love being a part of the lives of our people in times of birth, baptism, confirmation, marriage, sickness, death and all the joys and sorrows in between. I think you will find the sermons both inspiring and helpful to you in your spiritual journey. I think you find the worship bringing you into God’s presence each week. There are lots of children and youth in this church and numerous programs for all ages. I invite you to come visit us and experience some of the many things God wants to give you.

Hello! There are a lot of exciting things happening with our Youth Ministry here at Central, and we would love to share in the “journey” with YOU. Our Youth Program is for students in the 6th through 12th Grades. We meet each Sunday evening beginning with our Middle School Ministry; followed by a light dinner, which is then followed by our High School Program. We have a Tuesday Breakfast Club that meets each week during the school year for some added fellowship. We offer a Bible Study twice a month on Wednesday nights for both Middle & High School students. And we have a Bible Study for High School Girls that is also offered twice a month. In addition to our weekly offerings there are retreats throughout the year, and several exciting mission opportunities to be part of during the summer. These are just a few of the ministries available to our young people to help them in their faith journey. Friends and visitors are always welcome. If you have any questions – please give me a call!

We invite children and their families to share in ministry together here at Central! Jesus said we are called to bring children to the center of our lives so that they may meet Him! Opportunities to do this include: A nurturing place for our infants and pre-schoolers through our nursery and pre-school classes, L.I.G.H.T. House Sunday school where children learning Bible stories in a creative enviroment through learning stations, Vacation Bible School, Special Events for families throughout the year and more.....
Parents also have opportunites to nurture their marriage and grow in faith through parenting groups and family weekend retreats. We are blessed with servant ministers who share in all of the above God's love and nurture and a safe enviroment give our children roots in their faith Journey! We welcome you to join the Journey!
