MYF

Youth Group meets each Sunday! Our Middle School Group meets from 5:00 till 6:45 pm. Our High School Group meets from 6:00 till 7:45 pm. Both Groups share in a meal together beginning at 6:00 pm followed by some worship songs and announcements. (Our Dinner is provided FREE of charge!)

Tuesday Breakfast Club

On Tuesday mornings we gather at 6:45 AM for breakfast at Chick-fil-A. $3.25 gets you a chicken, sausage, egg, or spicy chicken biscuit, hash browns and a drink. Afterward our devo and added time of fellowship -- we help take everyone to school.

Girls Rock

Twice a month on Tuesday nights our High School Girls meet at Beth Richmond’s home for Bible Study and dinner beginning at 7:00 pm.

Youth Bible Study

Every other Wednesday we have a Bible Study led by Todd Williams that takes place at his home from 7:00 till 8:30 pm.

Retreats

As often as we can -- we will take advantage of a weekend retreat whether to the mountains for our Winter Retreat or to the Beach for SpiritUs. Depending on scheduling we’ve taken part in Fall & Spring Retreats too also to some amazing Camps!

Services Opportunities

During the Summer many of our youth enjoy helping with our Kids Ahoy Ministry! We offer a variety of day trips to various locations once a week for our Kindergarten thru 5th grade students. *In order to serve with this ministry ALL of our High School students, Middle School students and Adults must take part in the Training we will provide. In 2012 that Training is scheduled for Sunday, May 20th, from 3:00 pm till 5:00 pm. And a Make-Up Training will be offered that following Saturday, May 26th, 10:00 am till 12:00 Noon.

The Jeremiah Project

A day of work that our youth and church family help with once or twice a year! Usually there are about 10 different projects to choose to be part of. We start around 8:00 in the morning and finish around lunch time. Makes for some awesome connecting with a variety of folks in our church family!

Mission Trip

For the last several summers we have taken part in Week of Hope which is a week-long mission trip through Group Cares. We not only go and make a real difference in the lives of those we serve – we always come away have been blessed by being part of the experience. Each evening during our stay we enjoy some great programming, music and devotions which just adds to the experience!

Sunday School

We have some amazing friends that work with our Sunday School Program: Don & Kathryn Barrett teach our Middle School Class, and Marcia Parks teaches our High School Class. Both Classes offer a great foundation in our Christian development and understanding of who God is, and what our purpose in life can look like.
